Puerto Rico 2019
Thank you for stopping by! Our staff recently returned home from their trip to Puerto Rico. It is safe to say they came back changed in so many positive ways. There is a difference in the way each of them sees the luxuries of the world we live in. I have heard much positive feedback and it seems those that attended this trip gained just as much as the families we were able to help. I would like the thank the experience mission & Hunger Corp teams for making us feel welcome and for making the entire experience from beginning to end a positive one. Our team is already making plans to return in 2020 and continue on with their work. I know many of you have been following along on this journey over the past few months and I am excited to begin sharing more photos from their trip. Those can be viewed on this page and also on our social media platforms. We will also be compiling a video that will take you with the staff on their trip and the different experiences they had.
Where should we travel next?! FASA is excited to see where the next adventure will take us.
About the trip:
After many months of research and planning we are in the final stages for our mission trip to Puerto Rico. We decided to aid in hurricane cleanup as it was a chance in involve all staff members at FASA. No medical training required, just passion & empathy to help those in need. This year we will be traveling with a team of 14 staff members and for many this will be their first mission trip. We will be working out of La Hormiga, a small neighborhood outside of San Juan to assist in cleanup & rebuilding. Please feel free to stop back by as we will be updating this page with feedback from our staff, details and much more.
