The important thing to keep in mind when setting goals is to start small, and then to work your way up. Do you want to walk 10,000 steps a day? Shoot for hitting 1,000 steps routinely, and then work your way up to 2,000 until that becomes a walk in the park. When we create smaller goals for our larger ones, we build confidence once they are completed, and give ourselves enough time to turn them into a routine.
