My daughter has inflammation and pain--sesmoiditis. She has been in a boot for 6 weeks but not better. They have mentioned that they think the sesmoid bone may have died. Can your procedure help? Very interested in the laser therapy.

Yes, MLS can help. With acute conditions it allows our bodies to break down inflammation faster, and overall cuts about a third of the healing time off. It would be great to read her chart note regarding the possibility of the sesimoid bone dying. This would help in estimating how many treatments would be needed to get her healed. Typically, though, we see total improvement in 7-10 sessions.

Was treated with PRP on 8/22 for chronic peroneal tendonosis. I am almost 2 months post-op and am worse b4 treatment. Doc gave me an MLS laser treatment 4 days ago hoping to help, but my foot has had a non-stop burning pain and is way worse ever since. Please tell me I don't have nerve damage or if I do in a few months it will regenerate back to normal?

I forwarded your message on to Dr. Hess for review. He stated it could possibly be nerve damage. It's not common but can happen. He said continue to ice as much as possible and it should calm down. He also recommended to be seen by one of our providers. If you would like to message me privately I would be happy to take down any information and have someone call you to set up an appointment. Scatter.fasa@gmail.com. Or if you would like to call the office directly we will have staff available tomorrow at 7am. 360-754-3338
