Dr. Thomas Burghardt
Dr. Thomas Burghardt is a board certified physician and surgeon. He is in private practice at Foot & Ankle Surgical Associates in Tumwater and also in Centralia. Dr. Burghardt graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. in Microbiology, then graduated with honors from podiatric medical schoool in San Francisco. He then completed residency training at the University of Southern California Medical Center and Whittier Medical Center. He specializes in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery and diabetic foot care. He lectures often to physician groups, nurse and non-medical groups on diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle problems. Dr. Burghardt is currently the president of the Washington State Podiatric Medical Association. He has been a member and served on the board of trustees for the Podiatric Association for the past fice years.
